Bailey Smyers
I am a board certified music therapist with a master’s degree in music therapy. I graduated in December of 2024 from Texas Woman’s University. Born and raised in Bedford, Texas, I now call the beautiful mountains of Colorado my home. I love to spend the weekends hiking with my partner/husband, snuggling with our cats on the couch watching our favorite TV shows, and playing cozy video games.
Throughout my clincial training, I have worked alongside teens, adults, and older adults in various settings, including hospice, assisted living centers, long-term treatment facilities, and telehealth platforms. More recently, I have worked alongside teens and adults virtually on various vocal and musical goals through gender affirming vociework and voice lessons.
I am grateful to have been present for many different clients’ life experiences thus far, and hope to continue to grow my connections to humans as both a person and a music therapist.
My social locators are white, nonbinary, queer, English-speaking, married, and neurodivergent. I live in a hEDS (hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) body.
